Geospatial World Forum 2025 Madrid, Spain

Geospatial World Forum (GWF) is a collaborative and interactive platform that demonstrates the collective and shared vision of the global geospatial community. GWF is an annual gathering of geospatial professionals and leaders representing the entire ecosystem of public policies, national mapping agencies, private sector enterprises, multilateral and development organizations, scientific and academic institutions, and large end-users from government businesses and citizen services.

Best-known for its progressive themes, engaging content, top-level attendees, and valuable networking opportunities, the 16th edition of the Forum will be organized in Madrid, Spain from 22nd to 25th of April.

GWF 2025 Theme

GWF 2025, themed "Spatial Computing & Digital Twin Enterprise: Accelerating the Future Geospatial Ecosystem", will explore the integration of digital and physical environments through technologies like spatial computing, AR/VR, real-time sensor data, and intelligent algorithms. A key focus is on Digital Twin Enterprise—real-time 3D representations that enhance visualization, simulation, and optimization of complex spatial data across industries like healthcare, construction, and urban planning.

The event will feature cutting-edge innovations, case studies, and R&D highlights, while also addressing the challenges and opportunities these technologies present in promoting sustainability and resilience in the evolving geospatial landscape.

Do not miss the Flai's CTO Nejc Dougan talk

National Geospatial Platform: Fundamental Data Themes to 3D Digital Twins.

Join us at the Marriott Auditorium on April 24th at 16:00 to hear Flai’s CTO Nejc Dougan present "National Geospatial Platform: Fundamental Data Themes to 3D Digital Twins." He’ll explore how national LiDAR point clouds can serve as a foundation for Digital Twins, the challenges around data freshness, and the importance of classification accuracy standards. Nejc will also explain how AI enables on-demand analysis of specific areas of interest—removing the need to precompute and deliver entire datasets upfront.

Join us in Madrid, Spain, from the 22nd to the 25th of April 2025.
